I was delighted to have accompanied one of our clients on a business trip to India, following a three-month market research exercise that we had carried out to source suitable suppliers of bulk bags.
As a result of our in-depth research we had found two very strong contenders to supply bulk bags for our client’s aggregates business and meetings were arranged.
The first meeting was in Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India’s industrial heartland, and the second was in India’s spiritual capital, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
Both meetings were successful and our client will be making a decision as to which company he chooses.
Either way, it was obvious that both companies were keen to take on new contracts and that they were both very much focused on growing their businesses.
