We were commissioned by the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student & Academic Experience) at the University of Derby to research the preferred methods for communicating with the students.

The project involved running a focus group with 20 students from across the disciplines and at various stages of study, from first years to those studying for post-graduate qualifications.

Whilst the results of the research are confidential, we found some surprising views on social media and their attitudes to privacy and data security.
