The owner of Upper Hurst Farm, near Hartington, appointed us to deliver a brand identity for her new caravan and campsite business. The requirement was for a clean, but not clinical, identity and one incorporated elements of the business and its idyllic rural setting. The owner also keeps pheasant and there was a request to incorporate them into the logo, if at all possible.
After presenting various options, including the inclusion of a stylised pheasant, an agreed brand identity was finalised. The result is a confident and dynamic logo that very much reflects and reinforces the owner’s high end facilities, which incorporate ground source heat pumps and a biomass boiler to help reduce their carbon dioxide emissions. The new build shower and toilet block is finished to very high standards and further reinforces the owner’s upmarket proposition.
The owner was delighted with the new logo, which we have since applied to directional signage, stationery, their website and an e-newsletter.
