After 18 months since introducing aerial content to our clients, we have now upgraded our equipment.
The drone we chose is a DJI Mavic 3 Classic, a drone that offers several compelling advantages over its predecessor, the Mavic 2 Pro.
Firstly, the Mavic 3 boasts an upgraded camera system with a larger sensor, capable of capturing stunning video at up to 5.1K at 50 frames per second. This improvement in image quality ensures sharper, more detailed footage with superior dynamic range and low-light performance.
Additionally, the Mavic 3’s Hasselblad sensor and image processing, known for its exceptional colour accuracy and clarity, sets a new standard for drone photography and videography.
Another significant advantage of the Mavic 3 is its extended flight time. With an enhanced battery and more efficient motors, this drone can stay airborne for up to 46 minutes on a single charge, offering us ample time to capture stunning shots without the constant interruption of battery swaps. This extended flight time is a game-changer for Opera PR, allowing us more creative freedom and flexibility in capturing breathtaking content for our clients.
Furthermore, the Mavic 3 introduces advanced obstacle avoidance technology. Equipped with an array of sensors and a wide field of view, it can detect and navigate around obstacles with greater precision and reliability than the Mavic 2 Pro. This feature not only enhances safety during flights but also provides pilots with added confidence when navigating challenging terrain or capturing shots in tight spaces.
